Public buses to Puerto Banús: this commute takes a bit longer than one hour and costs between 12 and 18 euros in total, and its main disadvantage is that you will need to change buses upon arriving in central Marbella to resume your journey towards Puerto Banús. First, take line 601, 603, 604 or 606 heading to Portillo in Málaga airport and then catch the bus L-79 to Puerto Banus in the city centre.

If you have some extra time to spare, you may as well travel by train from Málaga airport to Fuengirola for just 4 euros, then transferring to bus line 302, 303, 304, 305, or 313 going from Fuengirola Terminal to Puerto Banus; this second journey costs around 8 euros.

Travelling by taxi from Málaga –Costa del Sol airport to Puerto Banus will take only forty minutes and you will be charged between 45 and 55 euros. Bear in mind that shared rides, executive transfers, limos and hotel shuttles are also available, giving you the chance to commute in style even when the fare will surely be higher.
